These days America's economy is certainly the hot button topic on everyone's mind.

When I studied economics in college, I learned basic terms such as supply and demand, GDP (GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT), inflation, unemployment, recession, depression and several other “economics” specific terms. The media has frantically scrutinized the state of our economy, reporting on every angle imaginable, thus creating fear, distrust, and cynicism amongst Americans.

Even now our government's leadership is enthralled in an all out game of chicken it seems. This political warfare is detrimental to our country even though their intent is to rectify the economy.

So what is the point of this writing? The point is that there is an economy which transcends all earth based economies. This economy is revealed in the Bible by the following verse.

Philippians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
This scripture is the maxim of God's economy moreover; it applies to all citizens of the Kingdom. Now, I would like to describe some of the characteristics of this supernatural economy.

1. Established by God's word (This means that only his word can change it)
2. Unaffected by natural events or human decision (The stock market is impacted by weather, disasters, corporate ups and downs, product life cycles, etc.)
3. Unaffected by typical economic conditions (Impervious to inflation, recession, depression, unemployment, import/export agreements)
4. Unaffected by political conditions (Who’s president, which party has majority, election year, national debt, wars, etc.)
5. Infinite resources (Not based on gold standard, US dollar value, national reserve, etc.)
6. All citizens can prosper (Not prone to prejudice, greed, or speculative manipulation)
7. Based upon righteousness and truth
Faith and complicity to Biblical principles are the keys to thriving in God's economy. The scriptures inform us in Hebrews 11:6 that not having or not using faith displeases the Lord.

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Isn't this verse powerful? Yes, because it clearly speaks of the necessity of faith which is coupled with rewards, resulting from diligence. Wow!

So in closing for now, remember as a believer you are a blood washed citizen of the Kingdom. Hence, you are More Than Conquerors because your economy far exceeds in scope and worth the greatest economies on earth.
